Same product different enrollment max thru date

Hi there, Some of our products have different enrollment thru dates based on which type of client it is. Some clients have access to a product forever, while for other clients the product expires at the end of the year. I was wondering what would be the most efficient way to use the LearnSomething platform to achieve this. I can create a completely new learning product, but that means having to create a new product in our AMS. Can I use the "sections" feature to limit the enrollment thru date? Is there any other way I can achieve this without having to create new products in the LMS and AMS? Thanks!

Hi Ana,

If it is an option to use enrollment codes, you can set up a code for each client with a different duration (# of days, or fixed date) that all point to the default section of the product.

  • Hi Matt, I thought of that but we are already using the enrollment code in a different capacity so it wouldn't work for us. Thanks for the response! - Ana Leirner
