Why is Enrollment Duration a required field of an enrollment code?

Hi there, I would like to know why is Enrollment Duration a required field of an enrollment code. The way we use our enrollment codes we want the products attached to it to expire on the "Max enrollment thru date". It's easy when you have only one product or when the "Max enrollment thru date" is the same for all of them, but it can become a challenge when it's not and we see ourselves putting a remote date - such as 01/01/2079 - to make sure the "Max enrollment thru date" is used. Would be a possibility to make this a non-required field? Thanks!

Ana, technically there is no reason why the duration fields are required in the enrollment code area. It is just a business rule that was put into place when the feature was developed. I'll ask our team to add your request to our enhancement review list which gets reviewed every month for sprint consideration. If this is something more urgent, please email me.
