netFORUM integration results in erroneous $0 orders for bundles

Does anyone else using a netFORUM AMS integration with Learner Community have the following problem with product bundles automatically producing erroneous $0 iWeb orders?

The Learner Community API requires us to setup $0 prices in netFORUM (that are set to not show online in our netForum webstore) as an administrative step -- so that LMS-based enrollments can insert $0 invoices in netFORUM. The trouble is, if we include an LMS-product in a netFORUM bundle, then when someone places an order for the bundle through the backoffice (iWeb), the AMS automatically picks up the lowest price. This means our customer service team is constantly manually adjusting bundle component prices so they don't accidentally give away paid-courses for free.

Our support at Conduent said they've not seen anyone use netFORUM bundles before, so they hadn't seen this issue come up. Is anyone else having this trouble?
