Assessment - Export Results to Word (Is the reverse possible?)
Under the Questions tab in the Assessment section there is a button to "Export Results to Word." Clicking the button generates a word document full of all the questions in that particular asssessment.
My question is, would it be possible to reverse this process? For example, could I give my SME a blank copy of this document, have them fill in the questions and answers, and then be able to essentially "Import Results from Word?"
When we refresh a course, we often spend a significant amount of time updating assessment questions. Simply being able to import a doc with the changes would reduce our time by about 95% for this task.

From my experience the reverse is not a feature available as far as I know. Having the questions entered in fields provides us the opportunity to run an Assessment Detail report for Pre and Post questions. However, you can still set up the title of the assessment without the questions entered and still send that word document for them to enter the questions and then you entering the questions in the system to generate the Word export.

Maria is correct, we don't currently have a feature in the admin UI for uploading assessment questions or changes. However, we do have a behind-the-scenes process for importing questions into assessments using a B2B upload. It is limited to Pick One and Pick Many questions and cannot import feedback, text formatting or images, but can create the assessments and objectives. I will upload a PDF document on the Files page outlining the format for questions and the process. You can contact support or your Client Advocate to get information about getting FTP set up for your site so that you can use this feature.
