Sprint 57 was released on Monday, 5/19/14 and included the following enhancements and new features:
- Learner Transcripts: Learners can now view and print a transcript (PDF) from Learner Community in their My Account area. The transcript can be branded for your organization by adding a custom header on staging in the Admin > Site > Learner Transcript area. It will be published whenever your site is published. The transcript includes filtering by dates and can show completions, credits, assignments and incompletions.
- Certifications: As discussed in sprint 56, certification products are now available!
- Conferences: You can now include conference products on catalogs thus making them ecommerce ready within Learner Community.
- Completion Report: A new excel report has been added that allows administrators to report on completions alone. It differs from the Enrollment Detail report because it not only includes completions that occur from an enrollment, but it also includes those imported from a third party and those that were self reported.
- Conferences (Admin): The conferences admin area has been redesigned and brought into the admin dashboard experience. This is a prerequisite to allowing a conference to have an overall evaluation which will be coming in a future sprint.
- Learner Completions (Transcript): With the newly redesigned learner transcript area, we added the ability for the learner to print a completion certificate (if there is one) without having to go to the enrollment itself.
- Learner Claimed Credit (Transcript): With the newly redesigned learner transcript area, we added the ability for the learner to print any associated statements of credit without having to go to the enrollment itself.
- Manage Enrollment Codes (Admin): Managing an enrollment code (create/edit) has been updated in order to support mixing Learning Products with Subscription Products, so now you can create enrollment codes that are made up from both products types.
- Subscriptions in Manage Learner area: The subscription area in the Admin > Manage Learner > Learner area shows subscriptions that have enrollments associated with them. We added a new area to show those subscriptions that exist but do not yet have any enrollments associated with them.
- Administer Enrollment Codes (Admin): The PDF report for your enrollment code admins has been updated to now bring in the assessment summary information that is shown on screen.
Please feel free to leave comments or questions about this sprint!

@Sara - does a certification product need to have a prerequisite learning product? We have one program that is really a baseline certification, where the single assessment would make up the certification product. There is no further required activity. What's the best way to accomplish this? I would treat it as just a learning product, but we need the "certification valid for" functionality.

Matt, yes, certifications are meant to be used to provide certification after completing at least one prerequisite product. What you are describing sounds more like a learning product that would need a "valid thru" date for the completion (which could be shown on the completion certificate). If this is a need that you will have down the line, we could consider adding this capability as an enhancement. Please do let us know if there is more to this scenario and we can think about ways that it might be accomplished in Learner Community.

@Sara - There are 2 levels to this program. We've designed it as a set of basic learning products on our (public) staging site. At this time no one self-enrolls in the products - we expect to create enrollments through a process in Personify that ties to a non-LC prerequisite. In that sense it fits LC's certification concept, but there's no way to tie in the non-LC piece. Our current setup is the basic certification exam is just a single exam - if you pass you earn a credit. There are no prerequisites for the learning product. The second level has a few options - there are 3 independent "plus" exams. These exams use the basic exam as a prerequisite to be eligible, and the same Personify process to create the enrollments. With the basic learning product functionality, the lack of the valid thru date on the certificate is one issue; the other issue is the inability to set a completion lookback date for prerequisites. We also need to allow recertification in each of the products.
