Sprint 89 was released on Monday, 8/28/17 and included the following enhancements and new features:

NEW

  • Product Description Duration: On the learning product Description tab you can specify the estimated duration in minutes. The field is informational only—it will not affect learner progress through the course, and is not currently displayed anywhere. If the value is specified, it will be included as part of the product details in the API call that some clients use to fetch details about published learning products.
  • Assessment Submitted Webhook: Learner Community supports event based notifications via webhooks which allow you to receive and react to events. We now support a new webhook event, "Assessment Submitted". This new event is triggered when an assessment attempt is submitted.
  • Overall Score in integrations: If a learning product has an Overall Score defined, that score can now be reported to integrations during the “enrollment status update” notification.

ENHANCEMENTS

  • Globalization Prep Continued: Language support has been expanded to include 20 languages in addition to English. Site pages and menus can be enabled to work with different languages. Pages may be edited in multiple languages as well.
  • Lookup Code Added to Description: In the learner search control, Lookup fields display the lookup description, and can now also display the lookup code if they differ from one another.
  • Exclusion Check Report Logo: Manage Learner Exclusions “Export All to PDF” now includes the reporting logo set in Reports -> Configuration. The “Export All to PDF” and the “Export All to Excel” reports now also include the notation: “Conduent checked the OIG and GSA exclusions data to produce the results below.” A future sprint will add the same message to Manage Vendors “Export All to Excel” (that report is generated differently than the Learners report).
  • Prerequisites for Shared Products: Previously, when a product shared from another organization was used as a learning product prerequisite, it would continue to be a gating requirement even if the product stopped being shared. Now the previously shared product will be ignored as a required prerequisite. Also, when viewing the prerequisite in the admin area, a “heads up” note will be displayed to identify the prerequisites that no longer apply.
  • Learner status: To try to reduce confusion when using Manage Learners, the learner search “Status” is now labeled “Account Status” and the “Active vs. Deleted” options have changed to “Active vs. Inactive.” This is just a visual change—internally (and with B2B data files) the account status is still Active vs. Deleted.

Sara, can you clarify? For out-of-the-box integrations (e.g., Personify), is the overall score now automatically reported? Or is there additional customization/configuration required? Thanks!

Sara, I am so glad that you added languages. This is such a must have nowadays!

  • Sara Charles

Matt, you will need to send us a request to add the overall score reporting to your integration.

Thanks, Maria! We have been excited to roll out this feature.
