Sprint 80 was released on Wednesday, 3/2/16 and included the following enhancements and new features:
NEW
- Admin Ability to Add Enrollment: We asked, you responded, and now we are delivering. When viewing a learner's enrollments from the Admin > Manage Learner area, you can now add an enrollment directly to the learner's account.
- Completions Report: A new Excel report has been added allowing administrators to more easily report on completions. The new Completions Report can be filtered by product, completion date and by learner information (all of which are optional). The result will include basic user information and any completions (enrollment or admin added) that apply based on the filter criteria.
- Authorize.NET Payment Gateway: Learner Community now supports the Authorize.NET payment gateway.
ENHANCEMENTS
- Evaluation Summary Report: The evaluation summary report has been drastically overhauled and redesigned from scratch. The new report is much more efficient and easier to work with while also allowing administrators greater flexibility when determining what needs to be included in the report. The main report filter now can be done by choosing one of the following:
- Choose one or more Products and optionally choose one or more Activities
- Choose one or more Sections and optionally choose one or more Activities
- Choose an Evaluation and then choose one or more Activities
The report will now combine all evaluations and activities that you choose into one report and will include a contiguous question number, which will make it appear as if it was one evaluation. If you are reporting on an evaluation that is used across many products, the results will not be broken out by product, rather the "summary" of the evaluation will be shown in whole.
- Improved Zapier Support: We spent a good amount of time working behind the scenes on becoming "Globally Certified" on Zapier. As part of the process, Learner Community needed to improve its integration with the webhook platform. We hope that we will be globally certified soon, but in the meantime, if you want to use the new integration, reach out to support and ask them for the private beta link. The new integration will allow you to completely setup and maintain your webhooks from Zapier, without ever going into Learner Community for management. This drastically streamlines the process of setting up a Zap. Any webhook created through the new Zapier process will be visible in a new area within Learner Community titled "Managed Webhooks." Managed Webhooks cannot be edited directly from Learner Community as they are controlled from a third party - Zapier in this case.
- Discussion Activity Directions HTML semantics: The directions for a discussion activity were improperly being wrapped in an tag.
- Administrator Add Completions: Learner Community has added validation to help prevent accidental future dates from being added by administrators as well as highly unlikely previous dates (Land Before Time kinda stuff).
- Webhook Admin Grid: A new column has been added to the admin webhook grid to show the "type" of webhook.
- Product Title Length: A validation issue was fixed that was previously limiting a product to be created with more than 150 characters for a title. The correct limit of 250 characters has been set.
- Textual Change in Password Lockout: Language that appears when a learner's account becomes locked out due to too many invalid login attempts has been updated to add clarity in how long the user must wait to try again.
- Textual Change in Assignments: Language has been updated in the assignment groups area to be aware of how many products exist in the group.
- Textual Change on Product Detail page: Language has been updated on the public product detail page. If the product has instructions listed, and the instructor is used on multiple products, the label for that area has been changed from "Products" to "Other products with this instructor".
- Publishing Validation: Validation has been added to ensure that if a Product Icon is specified, that the file actually exists.
- Date Timezone issues with Grids: Various grids were updated to fix a display timezone issue when displayed to an administrator. The issue could cause a date to be shown off by one day.
- Missing Portal 404: The 404 messaging for unknown Learner Community portals has been improved.
- Personify DLPF Flags: Learner Community has been updated to have improved crawler support for robots from search engines and social sites. Previously, clients using Personify SSO would have had limited success with crawlers based on the manner in which the DLPF support was implemented.
