Sprint 53 was released on Monday, 3/24/14 an included the following enhancements and new features:

  • Community - Introduction Message: An customizable area on the community dashboard can now be edited by a community admin.
  • Community - Discussions: The initial message posted now supports Markdown, which allows for HTML.
  • Community - Comments on Questions and Answers: A user can add a comment to a question or answer. Comments are useful when a discussion is necessary without adding an additional answer.
  • Evaluation - "Other" choice: A pick one or pick many question can now be set to allow for a free text "other" choice. If the learner chooses "other", they will supply a free text response instead of choosing one of the predefined options.
  • Assessment Structure: Editing the structure for an assessment has been improved to show a paged set of questions at a time while allowing an administrator to search for a question by the stem, tags, or notes.
  • Assessment Questions: A cross-reference-id can now be specified on each assessment question. This is particularly useful for scenarios where an organization needs to uniquely track an assessment question in Learner Community.
  • Sub Assessment: A numbering scheme has been added to the admin sub-assessment area making it easy to quickly find and identify each question on a sub assessment.
  • Evaluation Structure: Editing an evaluation has now been moved into the new admin dashboard area. There is now a list page of all evaluations meaning you can now edit an evaluation directly without having to first go through a Learning Activity.
